Mudslides caused by heavy rains and snow, which continued in the regions of Azerbaijan for several days, did not affect rail transport, Azerbaijani Railways Spokesman Nadir Azmammadov said.
"Natural disasters had no effect on our work", he said.
He said that torrential rains and landslides caused by bad weather in various parts of the country did not affect the movement of railway trains.
Heavy rains resulted in mudflows in the territory of Guba, Zardab, Neftichali, Salyan, Shirvan, and other regions of Azerbaijan. A few houses were under water. Some of the buildings were destroyed by landslides.
