Kamaz truck and passenger Bus "meet" on Baku-Gazakh highway - people dead and injured

Mercedes passenger bus collided with KAMAZ truck at 140km section of the Baki-Gazakh highway at 05:30 a.m., according to the Central Traffic Police Department.

As a result of the crash, 5 people died and 8 were injured. Reportedly, all of the dead were members of one family. An investigation is underway on the case.

Hajigabul Regional Central Hospital said 7 injured people have been hospitalized. 3 of the injured were sent to the Shirvan City Central Hospital as their state was critical.

Currently, injured Aydin Khudiyev, 18, Alasgar Verdiyev, 24, Jabbar Habibov, 70, and Amrah Haqverdiyev, 51, are undergoing treatment at the hospital. All the injured are the residents of Ganja town of Azerbaijan.
