SOCAR-Georgia started reconstructing the house of Mirza Fatali Akhundzadeh, a celebrated Azerbaijani author, playwright, philosopher, and founder of modern literary criticism, who lived most part of his life in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Mahir Mammadov, Head of SOCAR Georgia, said the two-storied building of the museum will be supplemented with the third floor as it near completion of the major renewal project. The renewed house will feature art galley, national Azeri restaurant and also serve as a venue of carpet classes and different societies.
