Azerbaijani violinist's triumphant performance in Moscow

Young Azeri violinist Elvin Ganiyev has performed in Moscow at International Festival Moscow Welcomes Friends, organized by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.
Moscow Welcomes Friends is a large-scale project implemented by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation for the seventh time. Over the seven years of activity, the festival has brought together young talents from all over the world.

Young Azeri pianist Elvin Ganiyev, aged 11, was included into the list of honorary guests of the festival. Elvin's performance of the Waltz by Gara Garayev and Original theme and variations by G.Venyavskiy amazed the audience.

Elvin Ganiyev was born in Turkey. He has won of a wide range of international music contests and festivals. Elvin represented Azerbaijan at a UNESCO-organized International Festival in Paris. On the Day of Republic, Elvin will play a recital in Prague and on June 3 he will perform with Turkey's Symphonic Orchestra at the opening of the Istanbul Festival.
