UN Deputy Secretary General visits IDPs' sewing workshop

UN Deputy Secretary-General Asha-Rose Migiro, who arrived in Baku to participate in the 7th COE conference of the European Ministers responsible for Equality between Women and Men, visited the IDP's sewing workshop.

Head of department for departed persons, refugees and IDPs at the National NGOs Forum Irada Rizazade said this workshop was opened in 2008 owing to the funds of the UN High Commissioner of Refugees (UNHCR).

The sewing and weaving workshops have been also put into commission in Khizi and Tartar regions. Mr. Migiro posed for photographs together with women.
