Chief of Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora meets Belgian senator

The talk focused on prospects for development of the Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations in Belgium and their integration into the local society. Ibrahimov said the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Belgium must be active to increase the Belgian society`s awareness of the reasons and consequences of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Lizin, in turn, praised economic development process in Azerbaijan. She echoed Ibrahimov's words, saying the Belgian society needed to be informed of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem. The Belgian senator also stressed the necessity of carrying out relevant projects.
