Not enough places for children in Azerbaijani kindergartens

Refugees and internally displaced persons will be resettled from pre-school educational institutions in Azerbaijan so that more children will attend kindergartens, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said.

"Today, there are not enough places for children of preschool age in kindergarten,” the minister said.

“Over the past few years the number of children attending these institutions has reached 10,000,” the minister added.

New kindergartens are being built and current ones are undergoing repairs to address this problem, the minister noted.
