Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents adopts new standards for motor vehicles

The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents adopted the 4 national standards for motor vehicles, their engines and emissions, the committee said.

AZS GOST R 41.49-99 "Single instructions on certification in connection with the emission of harmful substances vehicles with internal combustion engines and engines running on gas."

AZS to GOST R 41.83-2004, "United instructions for certification in connection with the emissions of harmful substances vehicles depending on the fuel required for the engines.

AZS GOST R 41.96-2005 "Single instructions on emissions of harmful substances on the internal combustion engines of agricultural and forestry tractors, machinery.

AZS GOST R 51832-2001 "Motor vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons and equipped with gasoline-powered internal combustion ignition. Emissions of harmful substances. Technical requirements and methods of testing.

Adoption of new standards will begin from June 10.
