Ganja Central Library, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library sign Memorandum of Understanding

The MoU was signed as part of a visit by Azerbaijani delegation, led by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism official Latifa Mammadova. The MoU envisages cooperation on library management, preparation of experts and creation of Azerbaijani stand at Mecklenburg library.

During the visit, Azeri delegation presented US counterparts with books and journals on Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva, as well as the country's history, statehood, culture, art, traditions, tourism opportunity, literature, and the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.

During the visit the Azeri delegation also met with members of US House of Representatives.
