Body of 14-year old Azerbaijani found under the ruins of a wedding house

Shaki resident Sahib Latifov, 14, left home on May 23 and never returned, Shaki Prosecutor General’s assistant Azer Zeynalov said. Boy’s parents contacted the Sheki police department which immediately lauched the investigation.

On May 31, a Shaki resident discovered the body of 14-year old boy in the ruins of the former wedding house and informed law enforcement officials about it.

According to preliminary versions, teenager was hit by a blunt object on his head. A forensic examination has been held and the body has been handed over to the family. A criminal case has been launched.
