Azerbaijan tightens control over street advertising

The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry's State Anti-Monopoly Policy and Consumer Protection Service has started monitoring to identify the situation in the sphere of distribution of the street advertising, and compliance with the requirements of the legislation, the Ministry said.

During the monitoring lack of corresponding advertising of the six business entities was revealed and it was brought in line with the requirements of the legislation. In addition, since the beginning of the monitoring facts of violations of law by four economic entities were eliminated.

In its turn, the State Service will strengthen control over distribution of advertising and will continue monitoring.
