Azerbaijan sets amount of scholarship for students studying abroad

Under the decree, the government will allocate scholarships in amount: for undergraduate and graduate - $100; for doctoral students - $200; for the Azerbaijanis studying in the Arab Republic of Egypt and Turkey through government channels, for those who study in universities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the levels of training, undergraduate and graduate, and for residents - $150 and for graduate students - $250, for doctoral students - $300 in accordance with existing bilateral agreements.

In connection with the new decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the following decrees expire: "On determining the amount of scholarships for students from the Republic of Azerbaijan, receiving education at higher schools of the Russian Federation dated Nov.3, 1998, "On determining the amount of scholarships for students from the Republic of Azerbaijan, receiving education at high schools in Turkey dated Feb.17, 2003, "On determining the amount of scholarships for postgraduate and doctoral students from the Azerbaijan Republic, receiving education at higher schools of the Russian Federation dated Sept.22,  2003, "On determining the amount of scholarships for students from the Republic of Azerbaijan, receiving education at higher schools of Egypt" dated March 19, 2004.
