Azerbaijan's Education Minister clears the situation with final exams in Azerbaijan's flood-hit regions

Azerbaijan's Education Minister Misir Mardanov chaired a meeting in Shirvan with the participation of heads of education departments of 8 regions of the disaster area – Shirvan, Sabirabad, Neftchala, Salyan, Saatli, Hajigabul, Zardab and Imishli, APA’s Mil-Mughan bureau reports.

Following the meeting, Misir Mardanov told journalists that the final exams for the 9th and 11th forms of the schools in 8 flooded regions in the disaster area will be cancelled.

“Final marks will be written in the certificates of secondary education. The exams will be held as usual in other schools. More attention will be paid to the exams in this region. We will demand the proctors to be humane towards the pupils, take into account their stress so that they can demonstrate their knowledge,” he said.
