Russian embassy to Azerbaijan marks Russia Day

Addressing the event, ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin praised Azerbaijan-Russia relations, describing them as a “strategic partnership”.

He stressed Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role and services in strengthening friendly ties between the two countries, adding “these relations are developing. Russia is interested in Azerbaijan`s prosperity”.

Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov congratulated the people of Russia on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.

He stressed Azerbaijan-Russia relations are “based on solid foundation”, which was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev. According to him, reciprocal visits of the Heads of State play an important role in deepening bilateral ties.

Yagubov praised rapid development of all-round relations between the two countries.
