Azerbaijani pupil selected as environmental protection ambassador

Azerbaijani pupil Rufat Dargahli was selected as an environment protection ambassador at the Young agenda International Children`s conference, which was held in Stavanger, Norway, on June 2-5. The conference has brought together children from different countries, over 100 delegates from 33 countries to be exact. Azerbaijan was represented by Naila Ismailova (Head of the Environment and Education Department of the Azerbaijan Youth Union), Rufat Dargahli (pupil of the Baku's secondary school #220), and Aytekin Dargahli (pupil of Baku Turkish Lyceum).

As part of the conference children discussed such issues as use of energy resources and their impact upon the environment. They also took part in the trainings.
