Book of Azerbaijani poet Chingiz Alioglu wins 2010 Art of Book competition

An international competition Art of Book 2010 has recently wrapped up in Moscow with a book titled “Cherchive” (Framework) by Azeri poet Chingiz Alioglu winning the honors.
The annual competition Art of Book has been held for the seventh time bringing together publishers from almost all CIS member states. This year 10 countries have submitted 155 books in 9 nominations. Some 54 books got through the second round.

Other successes of Azerbaijan at this competition include the second place in “Sodruzhestvo” nomination of a series of miniature books published by the Azerbaijan Museum of Miniature Book and the third place in the nomination “Our Contemporary” of Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism's “Catalogue” the published by “Efendi” Publishing House in Azeri, English and Russian languages.
