Azerbaijani and Jordan's law enforcement agencies discuss cooperation prospects

A delegation of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry visited Jordan on June 6-9, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan said. Delegation was headed by chief of the Police Academy of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry, Major General Ramiz Nagiyev. The visit took place in accordance with the provisions of the final protocol of the first meeting of Azerbaijan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the activities of Jordan's law enforcement, as well as identifying areas of concern in terms of mutual cooperation. Nagiyev met with the leadership of the Public Security Service of Jordan's Interior Ministry. The issues of cooperation were discussed.

The head and members of the delegation familiarized with a system of Jordan's Interior Ministry, activities, responsibilities and functions of law enforcement agencies of this country.
