The subsistence minimum per person amounted to 122.01 manat in Azerbaijan in May, the NGO Economic Research Center reported.

The figures were defined on the basis of regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Based on the estimates, the cost of the minimum consumer basket for the working-age population amounted to 119.65 manat, pensioners - 106.97 manat and children under 15 years - 137.96 manat.
The minimum cost of services for working-age population was 25.3 manat, for the pensioners - 22.38 manat.
The working-age population's expenditures on food products amounted to 56.76 manat, pensioners - 53.04 manat and children under 15 years - 64.74 manat. Expenditure on non-food items amounted to 34.59 manat, 31.55 manat and 50.76 manat, respectively.
Based on the law on the subsistence level of Azerbaijan, the minimum subsistence level per capita in the country stands at 87 Manat in 2010, including working-age population - 96 manat, pensioners - 68 manat and children - 72 manat.
