Azerbaijani delegation attends roundtable meeting on development of youth and sports held in Belarus

The event brought together young people, Chairman of Belarus Students? Council Yury Chechukevich and Chairman of the Young Scientists` Council Alaxander Shukin.

Baku Youth and Sports Head Office Chairman Rafig Abbasov told of development of sports, European and world championships held in Azerbaijan and achievements in this sphere.

He said head of the state announced 2007 – the Year of Youth as well as every three years Youth Forum is held. He also touched on occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani territories by Armenians. Mr. Chechukovich also briefed on achievements and problems in the country's youth area.
