New 1st district Baku highway is almost completed

"80% of the construction is complete. After the road is put to operation, cars which enter the capital from western and southern regions, will be entering Baku from the Lokbatansky circle, passing the center. This will partially solve the traffic problem", says the message.

The length of the main road is almost 22 km. The construction of the roads is being carried out by "Azerinshaatservis", comissioned by the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan. The whole project should be put into operation in August, 2010.
