Azerbaijan first-ever hosts rock-climbing championship on artificial relief

Azerbaijan for the first time hosted a republic rock-climbing championship on the artificial relief, Azerbaijani Federation of Air and Extreme Sports said.

Besides "A + A", "Ekosport", "Climb - club", "AMEAST", "AzDBT İ A", "Salavat", "Zirvə" clubs, Georgian climbers also attended the event.
 
The championship involving around 70 sportsmen was held in artificial relief club “Green Rock” in Baku.

In the male tournament, the top three places were snagged by Georgian climbers Guram Dabrundashvili, Erekle Mikaladze and Guram Kutzishvili respectively.

As two women, Georgian climbers Hutza Khuchishvili and Tamara Maladze got to the first and second places respectively. The third place was honored by Azerbaijani Yanina Mashkova.

In a few days, the club will host another climbing tournament in difficulty level.
