Azerbaijani gymnasts to vie for European championship

From May 27 to 29, Minsk (Belarus) will host a European Championship in rhythmic gymnastics. The Azerbaijani federation of Gymnastics reported that six our athletes will perform in the event.

In the senior tournament, Azerbaijan’s hope will be pinned on Aliya Garayeva, Anna Gurbanova and Zeinab Javadli while in the junior team tournament Lala Yusifova, Aisha Mustafayeva, Mansura Bagiyeva, Aynur Jabbarli, Sabina Garatova and Siyana Vasileva.

The medals will be awarded in all-round and individual finals.
