Milli Majlis Human Rights Commission receives 2200 appeals in 2006

This year, 2200 persons appealed to Milli Majlis Human Rights Commission on violation of their rights.

MM Human Rights Commissions chief Rebiyyet Aslanova told APA this indicator was 2900 last year.

"There are some complaints that are out of the competence of the commission," she added.

She said that the people mostly complaint of executive powers and law enforcement bodies.

"We do our best to settle the problems," she said.
