79 thousand vehicles brought to Azerbaijan in 2006

79 thousand vehicles were brought to Azerbaijan last year.

Interior Affairs Ministry department Erestun Medjidov told APA that 693 thousand vehicles have been registered in Azerbaijan. 400 thousand of them are in Baku.

Most of the vehicles brought to the country are produced in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Import of vehicles produced in Korea, Japan, Turkey and Dubai have been increased during the last years.
