President Aliyev approves agreement on restructuring of Georgia's debts to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued an executive order on approval of agreement between Azerbaijani and Georgian governments on 'Restructuring Georgia's debts to Azerbaijan.'

The Cabinet of Ministers has been assigned to take necessary measures, and Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry to send appropriate notification to Georgian government on implementation of necessary inter-state procedures for the agreement to come into force.

The agreement was signed between Azerbaijani and Georgian governments on August 17, 2006 in Batumi, Georgia. APA
