Lecture on Azerbaijan to be delivered at South Dakota State University

Anar Hatamov, an economics professor visiting South Dakota State University from Azerbaijan through a program sponsored by the United States Department of State, will speak May 5 at noon in Cooper Room B of the Brookings Public Library, according to the website of the South Dakota State University.

His talk, "Azerbaijan Today," is sponsored by the South Dakota Council on World Affairs and is free and open to the public.

Hatamov will provide information on the history, culture and economy of Azerbaijan, as well asthe achievements and reforms conducted in the country.

Dr. Hatamov comes to SDSU from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy Department of Agrarian Economy and Foreign Economic Relations. His degrees are from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy.
