Azerbaijan to restructure defense industry

This year Azerbaijan is going to restructure and renovate a number of plants such as Aviaagregat, Radiozavod, Ulduz and Azon for defense purposes and put into operation.

According to APA, the Government is currently negotiating with Ukrainian, Iranian, Russian and Turkish companies on installation of high-tech equipment and establishment of joint production.

AZN 100,000 has been earmarked from the National Budget for the development defense industry in the country.
