SASMP studies to apply new standards to economic spheres

The State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents are studying to apply new standards to all spheres of the economy.

The Agency Director, Ramiz Hasanov, told the APA that some achievements have been gained in the foodstuffs, oil and engineering sectors and complete transition to world standards was a long process.

He added that the Agency was working on special action plans and programs to prevent low-quality production.
