Baku to host summit of TRACECA member states

Baku intends to host a summit on the 10th anniversary of the TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia) Inter-Governmental Commission.

The summit is expected to be attended by president and premier of 12 member states.

Baku hosted the first summit called TRACECA-Restoration of Silk Route in 1998.

According to statistics, some 47mln tons of goods were transported through TRACECA. Public and non-state organizations earned US $205mln from the transportation. APA
