LA hosts Business forum of Azerbaijani and US hi-tech companies

Communication and Information Technologies Minister Ali Abbasov attended the business forum. This is the first event where Azerbaijani government official participated in Los-Angeles.

The forum brought together over 70 businessmen, including heads of Microsoft, Cysco Systems, CyberNet Communication as well as Azerbaijani computer producing companies "Sinam", "Nexus" and the directors of Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences Cybernetics and Information Technologies Institutes.

Minister Ali Abbasov made speech on prospects of business in Azerbaijan and said that high technology institutions will be established in five biggest cities of Azerbaijan.

He said scientific basis and labour force will be taken into account while choosing the cities, APA reports.
