Azerenergy, Azerigas fail to pay SOCAR

State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) failed to fulfill the payment target to the state budget because of being underpaid by Azerenergy and Azerigas, the Taxes Minister Fazil Mammadov told a government meeting.

He said the SOCAR implemented the forecast by 73.9%. He added that non-oil sector tax collection for the first quarter was AZN 362.7 million against the target of 340.8 million (106.4%).

The funds transferred to the state budget through the Taxes Ministry accounted for 15.3% of GDP and 71.8% of budget revenues. APA-Economics
