Azerdemiryolbank expands spectrum of microcredit program

Azerdemiryolbank intends to enlarge the geography of its micro loan lending program, by opening branches in Yevlakh, Aghdash, Zagatala, Goychay and Bayil.

As APA reports, $5 million and ?2.5 million have been lent in micro-loans to 1,900 customers within the scope of the program.

The program is funded by the EBRD and KfW credit lines worth $3 million and ?1 million respectively.
 
The bank lends microcredits ranging from $100 to $100,000 to individual and legal entities for 3 to 24 months.
