Black Sea & Silk Road Conference adopts declaration for development of TRACECA

The 1st Black Sea and 4th Silk Road Conference took place on 14-16 May 2007 in Istanbul.

Akif Mustafayev, head of TRACECA National Secretariat in Azerbaijan, told APA-Economics that the event, organized by the IRF and the Government of Turkey, brought together representatives from more than 30 countries.

The conference focused on prospects of development of transportation via the Black Sea and Silk Road. The conference made a declaration for development of TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia).
