Nakhchivan stops receiving electricity from Iran and Turkey

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic stopped receiving electricity from Iran and Turkey.

President of OJSC Azerenergy Etibar Pirverdiyev linked it with new energy stations in Nakhchivan.

Pirverdiyev said 87MW multi-fuel stations, 50MW Gas-Turbin Station and 5MW Vaykhir hydroelectric power station were commissioned last year.

Azerenergy president noted that need for electricity reduced in Nakhchivan.

Pirverdiyev linked it with installation of meters and supplying the people with gas, APA reports.
