The oppositionists attempted to hold protest action in Masalli

According to the information given from South bureau of APA, the action participants began assembling in the chaykhana (tea-pub) in front of the Executive Power of the region at about 15.00.The police took control of the territory immediately.

Press service secretary of Massali region department of AXCP (i)-Musavat-ADP Matlab Dadashov informed APA that, the police took some of the oppositionists who were leaving the chaykana to the Police Department at 16.00. They were taken to the region court three hours later. Four opposition representatives were fined, the rest were warned. It must be noted that, Massali oppositionists asked permission from Executive Power of the region for holding meeting-march on 10 April.

After the refusal of the Executive Power, the oppositions applied the Executive Power again for action on 29 April .As their request was not responded they attempted to hold action without permission.
