Official website of Council of Europe Information Office in Baku opened

The site will be in two languages-Azerbaijani and English. Executive Director of Information Office Ilgar Ibrahimli stated that, the goal in establishing the site is to inform Azerbaijani citizens who want to get information about the activity of Council of Europe and its organizations in the native languages.

Besides the information about the council of Europe and the activity of its organizations, English, Azerbaijani and Russian versions of   application form for applying to European Court on Human Rights are placed in the site. Besides, a special section will function for making the work of media representatives easy. Press releases, photos and video materials will be placed in this section.

The users of the site can get the press releases by registering their e-mail addresses in the subscription section. The Information Office also presented its new publications "Questions and Answers about Council of Europe" and "Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Declarations and Recommendations" books to the media representatives.

According to head of the Office Ilgar Ibrahimli, the library of the Information Office began to function. The library serves the readers with 1000 documents and publications including the periodicals.

Readers can get traditional publications as well as audio-visual documents, protocols of Council of Europe events and press releases from the library.
