Five-sided talks on the status of the Caspian Sea have launched in Tehran yesterday.
The discussions to last for two days are held on the level of foreign ministers of five Caspian Sea States, they are discussing draft Convention on the status of the Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijan is represented in the meeting by delegation of 8 persons headed by Deputy Foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov. The delegation included experts of MFA, SOCAR, Justice Ministry, Land and Cartography Committee. Some items of the Convention are expected to be agreed and next meting of Presidents of the Caspian Sea States is due to be defined in the meeting.
