Armenia ranks 120th on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2009 rating issued by international Transparency International.
The rating comprises 180 countries. Kazakhstan, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Mongolia and Vietnam share 120th place with Armenia.
Russia and Ukraine take 146th place, Tajikistan — 158, Kyrgyzstan – 162, Turkmenistan – 168, Uzbekistan – 174.
The most corrupted countries are Afghanistan and Somalia, the least – New Zealand, Denmark, Singapore and Sweden.
