Former Iranian President banned to leave country

Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami was banned to leave the country, the Iranian Fars news agency reported citing an anonymous representative of the Security Ministry.

Recently, Khatami wished to go abroad, but he was forbidden to leave the country, the ministry's representative announced at a religious meeting today.
