Turkish Airlines cancels flights to Egypt

Turkey's flag carrier Turkish Airlines, or THY, cancelled its flights to Cairo as Egypt's airspace was shut down due to the unrest in this country.

Flight from Istanbul to Cairo scheduled for Friday morning was cancelled, THY authorities said.

THY's joint flights with EgyptAir were also called off. THY officials said that flight to Cairo booked for Friday night could be made if airspace is opened by Egyptian authorities.
