Ilham Aliyev receives BP's executive Vice President

May 17, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received at Presidential Palace BP’s Executive Vice President Andrew Inglish.

The Head of State pointed out that the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines will start operating this year. He noted that now, when energy security issues have been brought to the forefront, the pipelines will be of not only a regional but also a global importance.

The President highly valued the role of BP in realization of the Azerbaijan's oil strategy, AzerTAg reports.
