No presidential pardon on Solidarity Day

No presidential pardon decree will be signed on occasion of Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis, Pardon Commission member Zelimkhan Yagub stated.

He said that because President signed the last pardon decree short time ago, the new one is not expected.

"The pardon decree is in president’s competence. But Pardon Commission usually holds meetings before the decree. No meetings have been held recently."

Zelimkhan Yagub noted that the commission receives a lot of appeals.

Commission member Azay Guliyev also said that he has no information whether the pardon decree will be signed, APA reports.
