No Azeris among dead pilgrims

The first group of the pilgrims left for Hajj on December 13, already arrived in Saudi Arabia.

He said that the second group of the pilgrims is already in Syria. He said that no Azerbaijani pilgrim died. "All of Azerbaijani pilgrims are safe and sound," Caucasus Muslims Department press service chief Haji Akif told the APA.

It should be noted that, 4500 Azerbaijani pilgrims went to Hajj this year. The number of dead pilgrims reached to 400. 12 of them are Turkey citizens. Most of them women and had heart disease.
