Quake hits south part of Azerbaijan

Earthquake of Magnitude 4 occurred in 18km to the west of Yardimli on the night of January 15-16 at 01.07.

Earthquake shocks in 4 points were felt in Yardimli, 3.5 points in Lerik and 3 points in Jalilabad, Director General of the Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Arif Hasanov told the APA.

No destruction and casualty were reported.
