Legal annual awards set

After consideration of the results of the survey, Eurasian Lawyers Association defined the winners of the awards of Lawyer of the year, Human rights defender of the year, Judge of the year, Court of the year, Legal awareness raiser of the year and other nominations.

Eurasian Lawyers Association  told the APA that the winners nominated 2006 annual award based on the activities in the spheres of rule of law, agitation of human rights, protection of human rights, fighting corruption, learning and agitation of European Convention on Human Rights and precedent law of European Court of Human Rights and awareness raising on human rights.

Legal Annual Award is an award presented to one lawyer each year by Eurasian Lawyers Association since 2005.

Legal Annual Award winners will be announced to public on January 22, 2007.
