Testimonies announced at Haji Mammadov's trial

Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes continued the trial of criminal gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

Judge Seyfaliyev announced the testimonies given by Interior Ministry Criminal investigation Department chief Akif Hajiyev, former deputy chief of Baku Main Police Board Javadaga Sultanov, department chief of the same Board Aydin Rzayev and at the same times the experts' judgments on the episodes of Rena Nesibova and Novruz Ismayilov's murder. The trial will be continued in the second part of the day.

It should be noted that, the investigation materials consist of 262 pages. The court investigation of the case was completed in six months. 45 victims and 191 witnesses gave testimonies to court.

The public prosecutors asked the court to sentence 10 members of the gang to life imprisonment, 13 to 10-15 years in jail who were accused of kidnappings, assassinations, and some other grievous crimes.

The public prosecutors asked the court to sentence Haji Mammadov to 293 years who is convicted on 92 Articles, APA reports.
