Monument to Heydar Aliyev to be erected in Gagauz Yeri

Heydar Aliyev's monument will be erected in the capital of Gagauzia Komrat.

It has already been discussed in the Cabinet. Mikhail Formuzal underlined the necessity of erecting monuments to historical persons. Monuments to Suleyman Demirel and Alexander Pushkin are also expected to be erected in Gagauz. Formuzal said memorial composition should be established in honor of victims of hunger in the 40s of the past century, Gagauzian press service told the APA East Europe bureau.
