Prosecutor General's Office Department to Combat Corruption sends 39 criminal cases to court

Prosecutor General's Office Department to Combat Corruption launched 39 criminal cases and sent to court for consideration during the past year.

Officer of the department Nazim Mahmudov said that the criminal cases are mostly on bribery, abuse of power and embezzlement of state property.

According to him, there are the officers of municipalities and law-enforcement bodies among the criminals.

The official noted that for effective combating corruption, citizens should take an active part in the operation and appeal in time. APA
