Ramiz Mirzeyev discontent with State Oil Company's contribution to national squads

Mirzeyev touched upon the financial recourses of AFFA, as well, APA reports.
 
"Source of income in football is ticket sale, ads, broadcast, other sponsors and etc. There are totalizing games in Europe. It is under state control there but it is illegal in Azerbaijan which leads to tax evasion. Turkish Football Federation has raised the issue to work out a project on legalization of totalizing games in Azerbaijan. We have met with some state officials on the issue. This project may help to improve football in Azerbaijan," he said.
 
Mirzeyev stated that football should be freed of taxes. AFFA president said they have addressed relevant bodies on the issue.
