He said that one of the assaulters was officer of Yasamal police department, APA reports.

"I have exact facts that one of the assaulters was inspector of Yasamal police department Nebi Rajabov. I recognized him while looking through the photos taken in Eynulla Fetullayev’s trial. I have already appealed to investigation. His photos have been presented to the inspector. I think that Yasamal police department can not carry out unbiased investigation, therefore the case has to send to prosecutor's bodies," he said.

Uzeyir Jafarov said that the assault was ordered by a high-ranking official of the Defense Ministry and he told the investigation about it.

"I am waiting. If no measures are taken about it, I will name the officer," he said.

Yasamal Police inspector Rafig Aliyev investigating the case told that they interrogated Nebi Raajabov basing on Jafarov's testimony.

Criminal case was launched on assault on Uzeyir Jafarov on article 132 (beating) in Yasamal police department.
